Our Native ABC Book

"Welcome to our Native Alphabet Books, designed by Grade 5 students of Topsail Elementary. This is a Block 1 Grassroots Project. Students used books and the Internet to learn about the history of both Beothuk and Micmac peoples. Then students studied numerous alphabet books for style and content. At the end, they were able to create one alphabet book per classroom. We hope that these books will help others learn about our early native population.
