Honolulu Festival 2008 - March 14, 15 & 16
First of all, thank you to Honolulu Festival Foundation for allowing us to showcase our quilts in such a great Festival of "Art and Pacific Harmony". We were able to share our culture and art to well over 10,000 people.
Thank you to our wonderful quilters for letting us borrow and showcase your quilts. They were admired for the beauty of the designs, the wonders of the colors, and the perfection of the stitches. The best compliments we had on the quilts. 1. What sewing maching did we use to make the quilts. 2. Some of the quilts were so beautiful and life like you just wanted to jump into the quilt and swim with the dolphins. 3. The quality and workmanship of the quilts showed the true meaning of quilting the Hawaiian way. ....and much more.
Thank you to all the quilters who volunteered putting up the quilts, standing guard during the show and taking down the quilts. We truly care and love all of you.
Now some exciting News. We were asked to again display our quilts for the 2009 Honolulu Festival. So to all our quilters start sewing... we are looking for Brand New Quilts, never shown before and completed within the last year. If you are interested please let me know so I can reserve a spot in the show.
Now for the show itself it was great but I'll let my photoalbum show you how great it was.
