Background, History, & Our President's Statement RESEARCH & INNOVATION Since opening in 1968, Production Chemical Mfg. Inc. has formulated over 90 car care products. Seven of these are firsts in the industry. As advances are made in the field of automotive chemistry, finishes and materials current formulas are re-evaluated and research and development begins. Within a few weeks new or modified formulas are developed, tested and marketing surveys are conducted. Our distributors are a vital part of our nationwide testing team. They are the direct link with the car care professionals. Their reports combined with the continuing research and development brings improvements to existing formulas and aid in the development and introduction of new products. OUR MANUFACTURING PLANT After nearly 14 years of operating in San Jose, CA, Production outgrew the facility and in December of 1981 the company purchased a larger plant complete with a lab and offices in Stockton, CA. ; This location now houses all phases of operation; R&D, Mfg. plant, Computer Network, Regional Training and Conference Center. The Stockton facility also serves as the headquarters for Production's national distribution system. DISTRIBUTION Two systems of distribution make it possible to serve the entire United States and Canada. First there is a large force of independent distributors who cover assigned territories. They operate mobile shopping centers along programmed routes and service auto care professionals: Detail & Body Shops, New & Used Automobile Dealers as well as Car Washes. The second Method of distribution is through direct purchase from the Stockton Sales Office. This allows us to accommodate all customers not located within a current distributor's assigned territory. By adding the World Wide Website we are now able to serve the entire world. SUPPORT SERVICES Production's full line-of-products are backed by two trouble-shooting services: the distributor and the factory.
