Non-invasive cardiologist needed to join a multi-specialty group in SC. Close to Hilton Head! Center is seeking to recruit an invasive or non-invasive cardiologist to join a multi-specialty group practice. Candidates should be interested in reading echocardiograms and nuclear stress testing. Future partnership is available. Position will involve office hours in both Bluffton and Beaufort. No interventional work is available in this position. Groundbreaking for the new 85,000-square-foot Center was held in October 2003, and the hospital is scheduled to open in late 2004. Located just north of Hardeeville, near Interstate 95 and Exit 8 Center will have 21 surgical beds, four intensive care beds, a six-bed obstetrics and gynecology center and a 10-bed rehabilitation unit. The hospital will also have a 24-hour Emergency Room and a fully equipped state-of-the-art-imaging center. A 35,000 square-foot! medical office building will also be connected to the hospital. The hospital will serve 20,000 Jasper County residents in its primary service area and another 15,000 – 20,000 in the secondary service area of Southern Beaufort County, excluding Hilton Head Island. Center is ideally situated just 30 minutes away from Savannah, Beaufort and the world-famous beaches of Hilton Head Island resort. The charming and beautiful city of Charleston is just 90 minutes to the north. |
