Faculty Position - Family Medicine Center is recruiting for a faculty position for family medicine. Physician would be joining a multidisciplinary teaching facility which trains, supervises & evaluates family medicine resident performance and to deliver healthcare services to patients; and teaches and mentors family practice residents. This includes meeting or exceeding standards of teaching, productivity, quality of patient care and risk management. Qualifications include: ability to constructively supervise residents, and role model behaviors of a scientific clinician, medical scholar and medical educator. New Mexico licensure and current Board Certification needed. 2 years of clinical practice experience desired, as well as residency teaching experience. Faculty Development Fellowship preferred. Skills needed are: appropriate clinical skills, obstetrical practice, procedure skills commonly ta! ught in family medicine, and computer literacy to access clinical literature and ability to use Power Point program. |
